We are looking forward to a great showing of all the amazing things you are doing in your school. Please consider being a part of our Idea Fair at the Fall Leadership Forum, Sunday evening, November 3rd. Students will be able to present an event, fundraiser, spirit week idea, or general chapter/council make up they have by presenting during this time. Each school can list up to two presenters and the top two ideas will be awarded a $50 gift card or opportunity to have a ½ off registration to the State Convention hosted April 4-6 at Hibbing High School.

We would love to have a room full of great ideas and each school is welcomed to sign up for two tables. Please click here to sign up!

We have heard from schools across the state that WE NEED a Minnesota delegation to represent at the NASC/NHS Conference being held in Chicago January 31-February, 2025. With this information we will be building registration for the event and that will be sent out shortly. The number of seats on the charter bus will be our determining factor of the number of attendees able to join, so please get the information to your students as soon as possible to guarantee their spot.

We will be asking for a $300 deposit by Decmber 1st to ensure that we have hotel rooms and seats on the bus available. The cost will be $900 for students sharing a room with up to four other students. The cost for an advisor sharing a room will be $900 as well. The cost for Advisors wishing to have their own room will be $1090.

Here are some of the conference highlights:

We will be traveling by charter bus on Friday, January 31st, leaving the Anderson Center (2 Pine Tree Drive, Arden Hills) at 6:00 AM. Registration will include transportation to and from the conference, registration to the conference, Minnesota trading items and dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Students will return to the Anderson Center around 7:00 PM on February 2nd.

NASC and NHS are offering scholarships available to all students that have councils or chapters that are part of the national organization. Please consider having your students apply for these. Minnesota has had award winners in the past, so there are opportunities to celebrate all the hard work and leadership that your students have shown throughout their high school years.
