Annual membership dues for the Minnesota Association of Student Councils are:
$85 for a Senior High School or Six year school.
$65 for a Junior High/Middle School.
The membership year runs from July 1 – June 30. Dues statements are sent in April to the principal of the school. The advisors receive a statement in September. Periodic reminders are sent through out the year.

What the Minnesota Association of Student Councils can do for you and your school:
Leadership Forum – This is a two day leadership forum for your student council, honor society and other school leaders.
Advisors’ Workshop – Held on the second day as the Leadership Forum, this workshop will present practical ideas and handouts for advisors to take back to their school. New advisors will have a chance to network with veterans and share stories and ideas.
State Leadership Convention – This is a three day convention that includes speakers, student workshops, election of state officers, and division meetings.
Middle Level Spring Workshop – A low cost one day workshop at the TIES Building in St. Paul.
Summer Leadership Academy – A two day experience that is economical and highly informational. We strategically place it at the beginning of August before the fall sports season.
NASC Conference – Held during the last week in June, Minnesota traditionally had one of the largest and loudest delegations.
Newsletter – Several times a year, the state vice-president produces a newsletter with the help of the executive committee that keeps the state student councils informed of upcoming activities.

Scholarship and Awards – Awards several scholarships to students of member schools and recognizes numerous awards at the state leadership convention.
M.A.S.C. can help you with all your Student Council needs. Publications are available in the M.A.S.C. office on a number of subjects including leadership, fund raising, ice-breakers, parliamentary procedures and student activities, just to name a few.
